Cleveland School of Architecture & Design

The Building Brighter Futures Initiative determined that enrollment at this and three other nearby schools was unsustainably low and declining. This school will close, and its community will merge into a combined school that will unite four specialized programs—Cleveland School of Science and Medicine, Cleveland School of Architecture and Design, Cleveland Early College High School, and Campus International High School—to create one world-class institution, reopening as John Hay High School in 2026.
