School Details

Formerly Garrett Morgan School of Engineering & Innovation, the Building Brighter Futures initiative has determined that resources could be used more sustainably if this school and Garrett Morgan School of Leadership and Innovation operate as a single school.

Garrett Morgan offers scholars a unique blend of STEM education and leadership development opportunities:

  • A design pathways that uses the arts as a way to explore public policy, urban design, and citizen engagement, developing the skills to challenge ideas, redefine solutions, and design the communities they envision, and prepare for a career in public service administration.
  • An engineering pathway with a focus on 3D modeling, circuits, physics, and technical drawings to prepare students for STEM degrees and industry-recognized certifications.
  • An information technology networking pathway that focuses on computer systems and network infrastructure, with hands-on experience and technical knowledge to support, secure, and manage IT environments. Graduates are equipped for entry-level roles and further study in fields like cybersecurity, computer science, and information systems.
  • Internships, mentoring, and college prep programs with partners like Open Doors Academy; Tri-C Upward Bound Math/Science; Architecture, Construction and Engineering Mentoring; MAGNET, Rockwell Automation, and the Cleveland Water Department.
  • A full slate of clubs, extracurricular experiences and Senate League athletics with the Garrett Morgan Falcons.
