Mission

Our mission is to prepare adolescents to become knowledgeable, empathetic and principled adults who think critically and act creatively on issues of local and global significance to build a just, sustainable and peaceful world. Our students have had a variety of prior education and life experiences. We aim to get all students into our community – and beyond – so they can begin to envision a place for themselves in the world. We emphasize experiential learning but recognize that serving students from such diverse backgrounds means we will need to differentiate learning opportunities for them.
