John F. Kennedy High School offers scholars academic rigor, career pathways, and personal growth opportunities to help them become compassionate, responsible citizens who make the world a better place.

JFK weaves together high standards and tools that nurture social and emotional growth to emphasize excellence through

  • Honors classes, College Credit Plus and Advanced Placement coursework.
  • Career and technical training in Manufacturing Operations and Teaching Professions.
  • Hands-on experiences that prepare them for success in college and the workforce.
  • Student-led organizations focused on entrepreneurship, leadership, and civic responsibility.

Our community of educators offers high-quality instruction while building strong partnerships with caregivers and our neighbors, honoring the historic values of the JFK community.

How to Enroll

Caregivers can register students at the school, or at the Office of School Choice & Enrollment on the first floor of 1111 Superior Ave. CMSD is an open enrollment district and welcomes students from around Northeast Ohio into our schools where space is available.

Exceptional Students  Extra supports are available for students who are gifted, have chronic health conditions, and/or existing or suspected disabilities. Contact the Special Education Office, 216-838-7733.

Housing Issues  Students who do not have a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence for any reason are entitled to educational supports. Contact Project ACT at 216-838-0210.

Language Diversity  Caregivers who speak a language other than English can register at the Natividad Pagan International Newcomers Welcome Center, 3145 West 46th Street, or call 216-838-0140.
