School Details

Wade Park is a PreK-8 school in the heart of Cleveland’s Hough neighborhood, where generations of families are Wade Park alumni. Our scholars enjoy engaging and personalized instruction to help them become lifelong learners and leaders ready for an ever-changing world.

Our school community including teachers, staff, parents and scholars works together to maintain a cooperative, nurturing, and safe environment, and focus on reading with emphasis on phonemic awareness and fluency.

  • Our core business is teaching and learning. It is our priority to teach students through the use of project based learning, social emotional learning and relevant technology.
  • All children have the ability to learn at or above grade level. It is our commitment that every Wade Park scholar will receive targeted instruction that is rigorous, integrated, and aligned to the Ohio Learning Standards.
  • All scholars learn in a caring and secure environment. It is our commitment to provide a nurturing and safe learning environment for every Wade Park scholar.
  • Quality, personalized instructional programs require a rigorous curriculum, effective teaching and ongoing, targeted assessments. It is our pledge to provide a world-class education to every Wade Park scholar.

As part of the Building Brighter Futures plan, we will welcome students and staff from Mary B. Martin next school year.

More students in a building means better opportunities for students beyond the basics of art, music, physical education,  plus expanded team sports and extracurricular clubs.
