Sunbeam welcomes scholars with significant medical, orthopedic and developmental needs, as well as students without those needs.
We offer a rigorous academic curriculum for all students, plus a therapeutic swimming pool and a gross motor room as a benefit to all students. We have physical therapists, occupational therapists and a speech pathologist in the school daily. Partnerships with various medical centers make accessing care easy.

How to Enroll
PreK High quality, full-day preschool is offered here. All of our teachers are highly qualified with bachelor’s degrees in early childhood education, and each classroom maintains the highest standards of a Gold Star Rating from the State of Ohio. Kindergarten registration begins in April. Children must turn 5 on or before September 30th. Inquire at the school, or contact Kindergarten Enrollment staff at 216-838-3675.
Grades 1-8 Registration for new students begins during the summer and continues throughout the school year. Caregivers can register students at at this school, or at the Office of School Choice & Enrollment on the first floor of 1111 Superior Ave. CMSD is an open enrollment district and welcomes students from around Northeast Ohio into our schools where space is available.
