Mission
East Tech is a career technical education powerhouse, with courses in culinary arts, horticulture, animal science, urban agriculture and hospitality. Our school also is a member of the New Tech Network, with a focus on project- and problem-based learning. East Tech has a state-of-the-art culinary center with a student-run restaurant and a Boys & Girls Club based in the building. Other special programs include Project Lead the Way (engineering), robotics, Closing the Achievement Gap (CTAG) and Air Force JRTOC.
