Special Programs
Learning at the School of Global Studies…
Our students receive personalized instruction utilizing smart technology to promote
international understanding and diversity of thought, ensuring students are
prepared for careers in a global economy. They get a good start on our diverse
campus, which includes more than 20 nationalities and spoken languages.
Students showcase their learning and growth during Anchor Performance Tasks,
presenting their learning to a small group of peers, teachers, and community
partners in a round-table format. Students are assessed using a rubric on schoolwide
competencies. After the presentations, students network and discuss their
presentations with peers, teachers, and community partners at a luncheon.
Our students have access to the full array of clubs, activities and amenities of
the Lincoln-West campus, including a MetroHealth School Clinic and Wolverine
Athletics.
We’re proud to be part of the first group of Cleveland schools to offer Say Yes
support services.
