Mission

Welcome to Willson, a PreK-8 school that offers a unique learning community where where deaf and hard of hearing students are educated alongside hearing students in one school community, where every member—Deaf, hearing, students, educators, family and neighbors—work to create meaningful connections.

Willson offers

  • Top quality, Gold Award-designated PreK education.
  • Interpreters for deaf and hard of hearing students and a continuum of services that considers individual, academic and linguistic needs; severity of hearing loss/use of residual hearing; and the social, emotional, and cultural needs of students in peer interactions and family communication.
  • An immersion experience for hearing students, who are exposed to American Sign Language in every class.
  • A fitness center and monthly food bank gives families and community members a chance to engage with each other.
  • Classes for students, teachers, parents and the community to learn American Sign Language.
