Mission

Global Ambassadors Language Academy (GALA) is tuition-free, open to all Ohio residents, and serves grades K-8. GALA offers an excellent bilingual education through its Mandarin and Spanish immersion program, in which students spend at least half of every day immersed in Mandarin or Spanish, to become bilingual. Additionally, GALA provides an academically rigorous program in English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, Physical Education, and Music. Students enrolling in grades K-1 are not required to know any Mandarin or Spanish, but students enrolling in grades 2-8 must pass a Mandarin or Spanish proficiency test for admission.
