Mission
Almira’s curriculum is infused with enriching activities that help students develop critical thinking skills. Our teachers educate students in a positive, safe environment with an emphasis on social and emotional learning. Students and families benefit from Almira’s connections with Say Yes and community partners, which offer services including before and after school tutoring, mental health and social services, dental and vision care, and a monthly food market.
How to Enroll
PreK High quality, full-day preschool is offered here. All of our teachers are highly qualified with bachelor’s degrees in early childhood education, and each classroom maintains the highest standards of a Gold Star Rating from the State of Ohio. Kindergarten registration begins in April. Children must turn 5 on or before September 30th. Inquire at the school, or contact Kindergarten Enrollment staff at 216-838-3675.
Grades 1-12 Registration for new students begins during the summer and continues throughout the school year. Caregivers can register students at at this school, or at the Office of School Choice & Enrollment on the first floor of 1111 Superior Ave. CMSD is an open enrollment district and welcomes students from around Northeast Ohio into our schools where space is available.
