Mission
Campus International High School
is grounded in the International
Baccalaureate (IB) education model and
housed on the campus of Cleveland State
University. Our school opened with its
inaugural class of 9th graders in 2017-
18, and is adding a class of 9th graders
each year until reaching full capacity in
2020-21.
We provide a unique opportunity to
learn about and engage with the global
community from the heart of the Campus
District, and are proud to be part of a
global network of schools dedicated to
developing mature and compassionate
students.
Special Programs
Our students think deeply, understand diverse cultures and
appreciate the possibilities of the world around them.
The IB model is recognized globally as one of the most rigorous academic
programs available to high school students, and ensures that students are wellrounded
by requiring advanced study in six different subject areas.
It also provides a framework for school culture that supports the development of
every learner to become self-directed, productive members of our internationally
interconnected and ever-changing world.
We creatively respond to students’ extracurricular interests, offering traditional
and nontraditional athletics alongside our IB-aligned Creativity, Activity, Service.
• Creativity – arts, and other experiences that involve creative thinking.
• Activity – physical exertion contributing to a healthy lifestyle, complementing
academic work elsewhere in the program.
• Service – an unpaid and voluntary exchange that has a learning benefit for the
student. The rights, dignity and autonomy of all those involved are respected.
