Mission

Garfield provides students with options to achieve 3.5 high school credits upon being promoted from 8th grade. We offer our 5th -8th graders a choice in electives during the day. These classes include orchestra, culinary arts, outdoor adventure, photography, world art, mixed media, painting and more. We offer Spanish to students in grades K-8 and have a five-star rated preschool. Garfieldhas achieved 4 stars in progress and closing the achievement gap and 5 stars for our gifted and ELL programs.
