Mission
Washington Park is a career and technical
program specializing in horticulture,
animal science, and agricultural power
systems. We provide a rigorous program
that develops knowledgeable, analytical
graduates with transferable skills.
Our students have access to an
enchanting learning environment that
includes a vibrant greenhouse and live
animal science labs situated on 55 acres
in the Cleveland Metroparks.
Special Programs
Animal, vegetable or mineral, Washington Park scholars are ready.
We offer programs to prepare for postsecondary study or careers in environmental
sciences including animal science, landscape design, agricultural power systems, and
natural resources. This high-tech workforce readiness program includes:
• Relevant internships.
• A Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapter.
• Honors and AP coursework.
• Opportunities to earn college credit while in high school, through High Tech Academy.
Beginning in the fall of 2020, this school will be consolidated into the East Tech campus.
