Mission

New Tech West is a small high school that belongs to a nationwide network of schools preparing students to graduate ready for college and a career by providing three essential elements: • Teaching that engages, • Technology that enables, and • A culture that empowers. We are committed to meeting the needs of each individual student, offering honors coursework and assistance for scholars with special needs. We are proud to count among our community partners the Cleveland Indians, Facing History, Westown CDC, Halloran Park, All Choices Matter, and the ACE Mentor Program of America.

Special Programs

Small classes feature project-based learning that uses the
latest technology.
With a one-to-one student-to-computer ratio, our students create presentations,
build their own websites, and conduct research. We provide a rich curriculum and
set high expectations so that our students:
• Master academic content while developing vital skills like communication and
collaboration.
• Learn to solve authentic, real-world problems.
• Are empowered to take control of their education, and their future.
• Are prepared for college and careers and have the skills they need to be
successful in the 21st century.
Our students choose from extracurricular clubs and activities, and participate in JV
and Varsity athletics with the Max Hayes Lakers.
