John Marshall IT is the first school in Ohio to focus on Computer Science. Information Technology (IT) is changing our world and creating new jobs every day, and we are leading the #CSforAll movement in Cleveland by developing an IT workforce pipeline. Our students have access to an early college curriculum with AP Courses and College Credit Plus. Our IT Pathways offer experiences in Software Development, Health IT, and Cyber Security. We are excited about our growing partnerships with local universities and IT professionals.
John Marshall School of Information Technology offers options.
Health IT is one of the fastest growing job markets in the world of technology and
computer science. These programmers save lives—developing innovative and efficient
technology for doctors and nurses. Hospitals would not be able to help their patients
without the programs and network systems created by Health IT professionals.
Software Development is the creative work behind computer programs. Software
professionals work in teams to solve problems that affect their local community and
global populations every day. Software developers live in a space where creativity is
valued and new ideas are welcomed.
Cyber Security & Networking protects the networks and connected systems that
organize our world from the constant threat of those who would do harm. Cybersecurity
professionals rapidly respond to threats as soon as they are detected and work in a
variety of settings to make cyberscape secure and effective.
Our students also enjoy extracurricular clubs, and the full range of high school athletics
with the legendary John Marshall Lawyers.
