State law requires sponsors that meet certain criteria to request recommendation from the Cleveland Transformation Alliance before opening new community schools within Cleveland Municipal School District boundaries. Furthermore, all sponsors, including those that have already gone through the Transformation Alliance review process, must use criteria established under state law to open community schools in Cleveland.
If your organization is planning to sponsor a new community school in Cleveland for the 2020-21 school year and is subject to review by the Transformation Alliance, an application must be submitted to the Transformation Alliance by September 15, 2019. For more information, Contact Us.
